Well, this is our all time favorite wedding and favorite bride. We had a 6 month preparation for this event packed with numerous tasting to select just the right desserts for the couple and their guests and it was a fun and educating experience.
Our lovely bride is a HUGE marzipan lover, i don't think i have ever met anyone in the States who loves it as much and we made sure to make her happy by making her fresh marzipan for all of the different desserts and cake.
Some of the most exciting confections we made were Swedish, like the Dammsugare which is the grandfather of the now popular cake pop, covered in marzipan and dipped in chocolate or the Chokladbiskvi a cookie like macaroon topped with chocolate buttercream and dipped and chocolate -Yum!
To continue on the marzipan theme we made some guests welcome bags with Dammsugare and marzipan balls some dusted with cinnamon sugar and some coated in chocolate.
As well as, Marzipan stuffed figs
