PostHeaderIcon Composting made easy!

I am thrilled with our new acquisition, an easier to tumble composter. Definitely, easier then the patch of stuff in your garden that attracts the oh so loved squirrels, grrr.
This beauty is up in the air helped by two big support "legs" and it is tumble friendly.

We started this batch with a big bag of dried leaves we had saved from the fall, and slowly add natural mater to help it breakdown into compost. Using the leaves helps to keep the batch from going stinky . I am definitely not an expert but i do love the fact that i can put all our eggshells, tea bags, coffee ground, fruit and vegetable discards (no animal products please) into this and in a few months will have compost that my garden will love.
